Mac OS X is a series of Unix-based operating systems and graphical user interfaces developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc.
Feature:
  • A major Changes in the Graphical User Interface  include the Launchpad.
  • Auto hide  the  scrollbars that only appear when they are being used.
  • Mission Control which unifies Expose, Spaces, Dashboard, and full-screen applications within a single interface.

  • Made changes to applications: they resume in the same state as they were before they were closed.
  • Mission Control is another long-awaited OS X feature that will become available with OS X Lion.
  • Documents auto-save by default. That's why users no need to worry about manually managing their documents.
  • Mail now feels like it has a distinctive value over other mail clients, like Entourage or Thunderbird. It's the genuinely uncluttered.
